This Week’s Trivia Question

Larry Hogan won’t take on President Trump in 2020, but that doesn’t deter us from this week’s trivia question:  Who was the last sitting governor or senator to challenge an incumbent Republican president for renomination?

Submit your answer in the box below. We’ll pick a winner at random from the bunch. The winner will get a fabulous Political Junkie button. And don’t forget to sign up for our Political Junkie newsletter. You’ll get all the latest from Team PJ every issue.

The previous trivia question was:  What was the largest combined age of the two major party presidential nominees in history?

The answer?  When Donald Trump, who was 70 at the time, and Hillary Clinton, who was 69, ran against each other in 2016, their combined age was 139.  That was the largest combined age in history.

The randomly selected winner is … Stuart Finkelstein of Forest Hills, N.Y.  Stuart wins the coveted Political Junkie button.
