This Week’s Trivia Question – 7/22/15

It looks like former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist (the Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat) may seek the congressional seat being given up by Rep. David Jolly (R), who announced this week he’ll be running for the Senate.

That leads to this week’s trivia question:  Who is the last member of the House who previously served as governor?

Submit your answer in the box below. We’ll pick a winner at random from the bunch. The winner will get a fabulous Political Junkie button.  And don’t forget to sign up for our Political Junkie newsletter. You’ll get all the latest from Team PJ every issue.

Last week’s question was:  Who was the last person who, after failing to win a major-party presidential nomination, went on to run as a third-party or independent candidate?

The answer:  Gary Johnson.  The former New Mexico governor was a contender for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination but, with his bid going nowhere, switched and became the Libertarian Party nominee.

And the winner is Marc Carrel of Sherman Oaks, Calif.  Marc wins the coveted Political Junkie button.
