Robert Dallek is the author of another book, “Franklin D. Roosevelt: A Political Life,” and talks about the successes and disappointments of the 32nd President.

And it’s amazing how fast 169 years have gone by.  Presidential historian Robert Merry reminds us of the careers of President Zachary Taylor, who died this week in 1850, and his successor, Millard Fillmore, who succeeded to the presidency following Taylor’s death.
